Since that time he has been involved in many fundraising events such as the Ride to Cure Diabetes, the Swing for a Cure Golf Outings, the Walk to Cure Diabetes and the annual Promise Gala. In 2008, he joined the JDRF Corporate Development Committee, which is tasked with increasing awareness of the organization’s mission within the business community and attracting corporate sponsorship of JDRF events. His personal goal is to help find a cure for type 1 diabetes in his son’s lifetime.
