eImagine Technology Group today announced that president and founder Joel Russell has been named by the Indianapolis Business Journal as one of the area's top "Forty Under 40."
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (February 2, 2010) — eImagine Technology Group (“eImagine”), an Indianapolis-based custom software developer and information technology (“IT”) service provider, today announced that president and founder Joel Russell has been named by the Indianapolis Business Journal as one of the area’s top “Forty Under 40”. This prestigious award honors business and professional leaders in central Indiana who have excelled in their fields before the age of forty. Winners have demonstrated leadership, initiative and dedication in pursuing their careers, and are likely to continue to achieve success in the future.
“I’m extremely honored to be a part of this accomplished group of entrepreneurs and business leaders” said Joel Russell. ”Like many of these individuals, I took a risk in founding eImagine twelve years ago because I believed that the business community deserved more—more than what it was getting from the standard software delivery model. Under Joel’s leadership, eImagine has grown 100 percent organically since its inception in 1998, with average annual revenue growth of 61 percent year-over-year and a 218 percent revenue increase between 2006 and 2008. Additionally, in 2009 eImagine saw record staffing growth of 33 percent and recently announced the opening of its third development office in Columbus, Ohio, to better serve the needs of the Ohio market and a key Fortune 100 financial services client. What began as a one-man custom software development shop has grown into a total-solution IT provider with three offices and clients that include national and international financial services and banking organizations, the Department of Defense, the U.S. Armed Forces and a broad sampling of not-for-profit organizations and businesses across the commercial sector.
